I split my time roughly in half between staying hands-on as a developer and architect on each engagement and running delivery itself, which means managing the team and the schedule to tight deadlines and budgets, holding the line on quality, and owning practice utilization and P&L. I also set delivery standards and OUM documentation, keep the team's certifications current, and support pre-sales.

Led and grew the Business Intelligence practice and later directed daily operations of 50+ consultants across four practice teams (EBS Applications Technology, EBS Supply Chain, Hyperion Essbase, and Business Analytics) plus offshore operations in two countries.
